Located on the corner of Wood St & Love Lane, The Cape is a vibrant and welcoming bar in the heart of the city. Just minutes away from St. Paul’s, Bank and Moorgate stations, The Cape is the perfect place for that post-work cocktail or a bite to eat in the evenings.

Soft leather booth seating, relaxing lounge areas and a mixture of wood and chrome décor creates a laid-back and inviting atmosphere whilst providing full table service during lunch-time and evenings. Plenty of natural light and full air-conditioning provides a comfortable venue for our guests.

Food is served all day from 12pm to 10pm and offers a menu that has all the classics with a few modern and inventive twists. Our sharing boards and buffets are a hit for work gatherings, birthday parties and general get-togethers. An extensive cocktail list and a diverse wine menu are also on offer at this smart and stylish city bar.

The Cape bar also provides a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere to watch sport in. With an extensive range of seats and screens we guarantee to give you an amazing view no matter where you are in the bar.

A wide open bar with many nooks and crannies for more private gatherings, The Cape has a capacity of 630 people. A mixture of booths, sofas and tables make the bar ideal for your guests to mingle or just sit and relax.

The separate mezzanine floor can fit up to 120 people and is fully fitted with booths and a full bar. It can be hired exclusively on a minimum spend basis or booked for a number of smaller shared parties.

Large plasma screens and a PA system renders this mezzanine area the perfect venue for networking events, where you can host your guests in a private area with all the benefits of a lively and buzzing atmosphere.
